Connecting the communityTo be with—in partnership, in community, in relationship, in trust—starts with being present. It requires time and effort and risk. It is also the element that creates justice naturally, through the heart rather than through the mind. When we truly “stand with” one another, justice becomes not an object but a lived experience. Kaleo Center provides a common space for faith-based, multi-faith and secular groups to interact and learn from one another. We shape spaces and create opportunities for to reaching across communities and beyond injustices to form real bonds. Our internship program also integrates action-learning to facilitate new relationships, stretch boundaries and remove walls.
