No groups are more primed to change our communities than people of faith. We gather in common purpose. We develop bonds as strong as family. We seek to give voice to the least among us and work to put needs of others before our own.
And yet…There is a gap. A gap between the just world we seek as people of faith and our ability to create it.
Positive social change is hard to create and harder to maintain. The elements that enable faith communities to act effectively for justice—theological foundation, training, tools and processes—have not been wired into how congregations operate…
Yet.
Kaleo Center brings together faith leaders and communities to prepare them to be effective forces for change.
Through both advanced masters and doctoral degree programs and non-degree offerings, we train faithful leaders in the skills necessary to create and sustain change towards an ever more just world.
