Preparing faithful leaders to be powerful agents of change
Certificate & Graduate Programs
Through our certificate and graduate degree programs, Kaleo Center equips faith leaders to be powerful agents for change—providing tools and forming the skills and practices they need to bridge faith, justice and the public square. Kaleo Center offers degree programs in partnership with United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities.
Through our Doctor of Ministry program, we offer opportunities for advanced study and research in the theologies and methodologies of social transformation—and the opportunity to work on the leading edge of this emerging practical theological discipline.
Non-Degree Courses & Workshops
Kaleo Center hosts conferences, leads initiatives and serves as consultants to help communities of faith actively engage in the conversation at the intersection of faith and public life. Kaleo Center also holds a variety of non-degree courses and workshops to help community leaders, faith leaders, and nonprofit professionals hone their skills in topics related to spirituality and social justice.
Ongoing non-degree programs of Kaleo Center:
- KaleoExpress – Monthly, free workshops on topics related to social justice and spiritual practice by artists, organizers, and experts in their field
- Encore Impact – Encore Impact engages a diverse group of 55+ adults in a four-month program of discernment, dialogue, and experience with what an “encore” stage of productive, social-purpose focused adulthood might look like.
- Kaleo Center Action Learning Cohort – The Kaleo Center Action Learning Cohort offers a structured, nine-month program for faith-leaders and spiritual activists who seek to discern, build, deepen and sustain their leadership for justice.
